Active Churches in Madison County 100+ Years Old

 
 

The Madison County Historical Society presents "Active Churches in Madison County Over 100" Exhibit.  This exhibit was on display from Monday, June 16, 2014 through Wednesday, July 30, 2014.  The display is at the History Museum, 7 West 11th Street, Anderson, Indiana.  The Exhibit Hall is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. 

The display and collection is large and robust with the focus being on the early church and the pioneers who were responsible for their founding.  On display is a collection of of pictures, memorabilia, articles,  collectibles, books, and magazines. 

Our big "THANK YOU"  to Lucretia Lawler, Melody Hull, Bill Knepp, Suzy Chambers, and Emilie Isenhour for putting this collection together over the years and then its organization into an exhibit at the History Museum.  Many staff volunteers will be available to show and talk to you about this fabulous collection.  See you there!
